Today’s children move less than ever before whilst mental health issues are on the rise.

We have a responsibility to serve our children better amongst the growing crisis in children’s mental health in the UK.

We’re finding ways to do that.

 
 

8% of 5-10 year olds and nearly 12% of 11-15 year olds have a diagnosed mental health disorder.

• Reduce referral rates to school-based and community mental health interventions

• Improve social capital, wider community engagement opportunities and family mental health.

Our team

 

Stormbreak CIO is a registered charity in England & Wales (1182771) and part of a wider collaborative team led by Dr Martin Yelling. The partnerships working to shape the way forward include Bournemouth University, University of Winchester, Dorset CAMHs, Public Health Dorset, DragonFish, schools, teachers and children.
